Job summary

The SMB Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of existing customers in the UK market, focusing on retention and growth. This role involves driving renewals, enhancing customer relationships, and ensuring measurable business value through collaboration with Customer Success Managers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in account management, renewals, or a similar customer-facing role within a SaaS or subscription-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of retention strategies, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze account performance data and forecast renewals.
  • Familiarity with the digital advertising/search marketing industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process to achieve high Gross Renewal Rates (GRR).
  • Drive portfolio growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed account plans and accurate forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Lead strategic conversations with customers, including business reviews and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and value realization.
  • Maintain accurate data and visibility across the portfolio for operational excellence.

  • Proficient in managing a large portfolio and maintaining accurate CRM data.
