Test Manager (IT, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves managing testing processes, release management, and IT architecture to enhance the quality of application outputs supporting business operations. The Test Manager will develop and implement processes and tools to ensure compliance with requirements across various applications.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience in analyzing project requirements, architecture, and functional processes to facilitate testing scope.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud environments, and mobile devices.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with test automation tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of architectural tools is advantageous.
• Background in small to medium-sized companies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with in-house and external developers to clarify feature requirements and determine testing needs.
• Identify gaps in specifications and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, including feature, functional, unit, and regression testing.
• Manage daily tasks of two student testers.
• Perform root cause analysis for bugs and coordinate with the development team for resolutions.
• Oversee release activities and conduct post-deployment verification.
• Promote Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
• Establish processes to enhance testing productivity and efficiency.
• Improve documentation for supported applications and systems.
• Communicate testing status and requirements effectively across teams.

Education

• Relevant educational background in IT or related fields is expected.

Tools

• Familiarity with test automation tools and architectural tools is a plus.
