Technical Lead (Remote, Denmark)

Job summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead to oversee the development of cross-platform peer-to-peer applications in a distributed engineering environment. This role involves defining technical direction, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with technology partners to create scalable and secure applications.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, specifically with React Native and/or Electron applications.
• Strong background in modular codebases and reusable npm modules.
• Proven leadership experience with small development teams and stakeholder coordination.
• Proficient in Node.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with local-first applications and data synchronization techniques.
• Familiarity with end-to-end encryption and secure local storage.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and open-source workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal teams and external partners.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on evolving technologies.
• Design and maintain cross-platform applications using Electron and React Native.
• Translate product requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Guide development of user-friendly features for messaging, file sharing, and video calls.
• Mentor engineers in development practices and code reviews.
• Manage documentation and feedback between teams and contributors.
