Senior Analytics Engineer (Remote, USA/Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves joining a dynamic data and analytics team focused on enhancing analytics maturity and delivering commercial value through data insights. The position is pivotal in building an AI-enabled data foundation for the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Solutions, Data Engineering, or Data Specialist.
• Proficient in SQL and/or Python with experience in handling large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and data transformation best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and results-oriented mindset.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to challenge constructively.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Sciences, BI, Analytics, or related fields.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 days a year.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines and monitoring systems to deliver high-quality data products focused on retail execution.
• Ensure data products comply with CI/CD standards and data quality frameworks.
• Maintain semantic layer infrastructure and drive governance for improved data accessibility.
• Collaborate with various teams to convert business requirements into actionable data products.
• Promote data literacy through training and documentation.
• Partner with product teams to innovate features across the data platform.
• Advocate for best practices in data product development to ensure data integrity and scalability.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with AGILE methodologies is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Tools

• Experience with Databricks and coding assistants is advantageous.
