Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or other programming languages is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Strong written English skills (C1+).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international projects are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, with variability based on project needs.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace. Compensation may vary across different projects.

  • Design computational engineering problems that reflect real-world workflows.
  • Create Python-based solutions for engineering calculations and simulations.
  • Ensure problems are computationally intensive, requiring numerical methods.
  • Develop challenges based on real research or practical engineering applications.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
  • Document problem statements and provide verified answers clearly.
